Technical Recruiter Job #20100349 • CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS • PHOENIX, AZ Working closely with management and other human resources professionals to support the workforce planning needs of the business in addition to matrixed responsibility for the contingent workforce, the Technical Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting of technical candidates including sourcing, screening, submitting candidates to hiring managers, interviewing and successful on-boarding. This position requires in-depth knowledge of information technology. Primary positions filled will be within the Information Systems Division, with support to other lines of business in addition to the contract/contingent workforce.
The successful candidate should possess a full understanding of principles, concepts and industry practices relating to full life cycle recruiting. The ability to assert influence in decisions, work in a team environment and communicate effectively (oral and written) is required. Individual must have the ability to prioritize, plan and initiate work activities, as well as build and maintain effective working relationships.
Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of 4 years relevant work experience and college coursework in a Human Resources, Business Management or related area · 7 years progressively responsible recruiting experience with a minimum of 3 years technical recruiting of various leveled positions throughout a diverse organization · Strong working knowledge of the recruitment and candidate evaluation process · Additional requirements include proficient knowledge of emerging practices and technologies used within the area; working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations · PeopleSoft experience a plus · SPHR or PHR preferred · AIRS training preferred · Core competencies for this position include: o Excellent organizational skills, analysis, decision making, adaptability, integrity, project management, organization, communication, teamwork, and follow-up o Excellent working knowledge and proficient skill in Microsoft Office products, specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel o Additionally ATS (electronic applicant tracking systems)
